Dr Neel Raya has been practicing since 1995 and is board certified in internal medicine. He is affiliated with the Fairfield Medical Center, Lancaster, OH.

·         This means you see Dr. Raya at each and every visit.

Prescription Refills

• We make sure you have enough refills until next appointment. Please check with the Pharmacy first about refills before calling the office. We will refill prescriptions only at appointments. If appointment was missed we will get you in as soon as we can, and refill the medicine at that visit, a regular visit can be scheduled for other follow-up problems at that time. 
• Controlled Drugs can be refilled at appointments only, a urine test may be required, state OARRS report may also be reviewed to ensure there is no issues with medication abuse.
• Whenever a medication prescribed by another physician needs to be refilled at this practice an office visit will be required.

  Vacation Coverage

  ·         Whenever Dr.Raya is off there will be adequate coverage.

·         There is always a doctor available for any patients being admitted to the Fairfield medical center, Lancaster. All emergency calls are attended by a qualified internist covering for him. Non emergencies are handled by the office during regular business hours.

·         Dr.Raya calls the office daily even when he is on vacation and takes care of any routine problems this way. 
 

Computerized Charting

·         We have computerized charting, which means your most important information, drug list, allergies are all available on the computers 24 hours a day.  

·         We are also sensitive to the security and privacy needs of the patients and are HIPPA complaint. 
 

Appointment Reminders

·     Patients are responsible to keep their appointments, we reserve the right to charge for missed appointments, we may also terminate patients who miss two or more appointments in 1 year. 

• We have an automated calling system medvoice which will remind you 2-3 days before your appointment and also gives you the option of leaving us a message.

  Answering Service

·         We use perfectserve answering service, you can leave a message or contact the Physician if it is an emergency using option#1. 
 

Answering Phone Calls

·         Getting messages to Dr. Raya is easy. All messages are given to Dr. Raya without any screening.

Reviewing Lab Results

·         Dr.Raya personally reviews all laboratory results. This data is then reviewed in the context of your personal medical record.  Recommendations are then made based upon the synthesis of these databases.
